| Let me just start out by saying that I, YES ME, saw Bjork TONIGHT at the academy awards! Not to mention the recently deceased Anna Nicole Smith and baby. That's right folks you have not miss read anything. I did say Bjork! She even wore her infamous "swan dress"! Ok, so maybe I was at the end of the year party, where, I kid you not over 100 elementary school teachers dressed in their MOST tacky formal attire and celebrated like it was 1999! OR 1985. I am now thankful that I was not in high school during the 80's! Whoever through it was okay to put a HUGE bow on your rear was either drunk or stupid! I hope that all those still in school have a wonderful and quick end. Have a great summer. | | |
| I've been told that it's time to update with pictures of our newest family addition. World (or those of you who actually read my Xanga) MEET LINCOLN!! He's a furry black lab who's about 8 weeks old. He came from the pound. And he's really cute!!! If you don't believe me see the pictures from when we brought him home.

| Well, I made it and so did all of my students. I can't believe the year has come to an end. I'm somewhat relieved but sad at the same time. Honestly it a strange feeling to think I'm not going to have those students in my class again.
On another note... Who doesn't send their child to school on the last day? I mean think of all the things you miss!!! Yearbook signing, pictures, last goodbyes, assembly and so much more. What were those parents thinking? How sad.

| We are down to 9 days left of school and everyday is like the movie Groundhog Day. Will this year ever end? I keep counting down the days but the end never feels closer. Am I stuck in some imaginary level of teacher hell where the last day will never come? I am feeling very bitter sweet about the whole last day of my first year thing. I don't quite know how to take it.
On another note I have a few pictures to share with those who are interested. This is not our stuff yet. I will update new pictures when we have moved in this summer!!
